These terms apply to your use of laterlight, operated by Leonard Crockett. By using the site or private app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The early-access experience
laterlight is a film-and-TV companion currently in private testing. Joining the waitlist is free. It does not create an account, grant private-app access, or guarantee an invitation, a launch date, or continued availability.
Dean’s public onboarding replies are scripted and explain the service. They are not personalized viewing recommendations. The service and its features may change as testing continues.
Signups and private access
Submit an email address you control. Private access is limited to approved testers who sign in with ChatGPT. Keep your sign-in account secure and do not share access or impersonate another person. Authentication through ChatGPT is also subject to that service’s terms.
You must be at least 13 to use laterlight and meet any additional age or consent requirements that apply to you or your sign-in service. We may suspend or revoke test access to protect the service, respond to misuse, or manage the testing program.
Using laterlight responsibly
Use laterlight for lawful, personal purposes. Do not submit spam, disrupt the service, bypass authentication or access restrictions, attempt to obtain another person’s private data, or upload material you do not have the right to use.
Do not enter passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information into Dean’s prompt. You are responsible for the information and content you submit.
Your content and privacy
You retain ownership of the notes, prompts, and other original content you submit. You give laterlight permission to store and process that content as needed to operate the service, maintain your account, and generate your recommendations.
Our Privacy policy explains the information we collect, the service providers we use, and how to request removal from the waitlist or deletion of account information.
Recommendations and outside services
Private-app recommendations may use AI and third-party catalog data. Suggestions, ratings, descriptions, and availability can be incomplete or incorrect. Confirm important details, including streaming availability and any costs, with the relevant provider.
laterlight does not supply streaming subscriptions or grant rights to watch a title. Third-party links and services have their own terms, prices, and policies. We do not control them or guarantee their content or availability.
Brand and other materials
The laterlight name, original logo, site design, and original site content belong to their respective owners. These terms permit personal use of the service; they do not transfer ownership of those materials or allow you to present yourself as laterlight.
Film artwork, footage, metadata, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. Nothing in these terms grants rights beyond those needed to use the site.
Availability and limitations
The early-access service is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, accurate recommendations, or that a feature will remain available. Keep your own copy of information you cannot afford to lose.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, laterlight and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes, leaving, and contact
We may update these terms as laterlight develops. The current version and its updated date will be posted here. If you do not accept an update, stop using the service.
